If you are noticing that decimal points are truncated in the Flow Consultant, you may also notices for every decimal point you enter any other application designed for your Microsoft windows operating system.

Example: 1,3 is being interpreted as 1.0

If you enter the 1,6 the Flow Consultant defaults to 1.0.

Your computer does not know to change the comma to a period for you.

This is not a design note or indication that 1.0 is a better value, it is a problem specific to the computer you are running our software on. Most likely your computer was setup this way because this is the Default setting for Microsoft Windows.

To make your computer interpret decimal points as you do, you will need to change the regional settings in your windows control panel.

If your computer is set for Italy, verify on the next tab that 'decimal' is set to a comma not a period.

If you have a need to use United States as your region, go to the 'number' tab of your 'regional settings' and change the period to a comma.

Seek assistance from your computer support technician if you are not comfortable with changing this setting.
